USA Reining seeks to educate the public and foster the western horse sport of Reining in the U.S. and provide a pipeline for athletes to progress through the various levels of education & competition from youth and beginner to advanced, and eventually to the FEI international level. It is also the goal of USA Reining to represent its members as a fully compliant USEF-recognized affiliate for the sport, advocating fair sport and horse welfare as key values of the organization.
Together with the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation), which serves as the national governing body for equestrian sport, USA Reining strives to offer advancement, education and awareness of the sport.
